Here it is, the first version of our website TeslaCampus.nl
Recently we talked about the challenge we took on to have a workable and attractive platform live within three weeks. That will certainly work, but there are already so many developments to report that we are happy to share them. We count on your understanding for the fact that much is still “in the pipeline”.
With TeslaCampus, we will provide a meeting place where everything that is (or may be) interesting for Tesla interested parties will be easy to find.
We emphatically call it “interested” because we focus on anyone who is interested.
Whether it is a Tesla driver from the first hour, someone who just picked up his new Tesla yesterday, someone who is saving for a Tesla or dreams of it.
It is known that especially the youth has a predilection for Teslas.
We respond to this wherever possible, of course.
While the Campus is a meeting place, there are pavilions around it with their own functions. At TeslaCampus there are the following:
Information is shared within the Academy on a range of topics.
A very important one in this is the initiated energy transition and the role that Tesla plays in this.
Think of the Battery Investors Day that will take place on September 22 and what the impact will be in the near future.
Of course also topics such as AP (AutoPilot), FSD (Full Self Driving), OTA (Over The Air) updates, loading Teslas, the Supercharger Network are highlighted.
There will be an explanation of how the Teslas work with tips and of course plenty of room for questions (and answers).
In the media, but also at drinks and birthday parties, opinions are invariably put forward that have one thing in common: “Teslas are not ok”. We call it “urban myths”.
This usually concerns matters such as charging hours on the road, range, clean or unclean, children in mines, etc.
We will explain them individually and provide (counter) arguments so that you can immediately have the answer ready. Charity It has been found that the Tesla drivers often have a lot of intention to support charities.
We have had good experiences, such as recently, when we gave eleven-year-old Thimon a real “Tesla Day” in good cooperation with “Make a Wish” and Tesla. Being picked up at home in a Tesla (in Zeeland), a VIP visit to the Tesla factory in Tilburg, an exciting Kart experience and finally the experience of what it is like to be launched in the fastest Tesla (fully checked) from 0 to 200 km / hour.
Safe on a reserved course. Thimon will always remember.. Earlier we started with an online auction. This was very successful and we will pick it up again at TeslaCampus with great items. The large Tesla drivers event in collaboration with the Radboud hospital and the Goffert stadium will also take place.
From day one, Tesla drivers visited each other to share their (then very exclusive) experiences. Tesla drivers greeted each other for years until the fleet grew too large for that.
But if you come across a Tesla driver far from home, the “hand will always go up”.
Many contacts were made at Supercharger locations.
Clubs were founded, people found each other on a forum and they went out together.
Now we merge this on one platform with parts like:
3) Supply and demand
4) Share stories
5) Supercharger spots
It is deliberately kept as accessible as possible. No members, friends, participants, but just an access to the Campus, from the homepage in seconds.
And of course this is all at no cost.
Will there be any time activities that cost money, those who participate just pay the cost and no more than that.
Just like drivers of every brand, Tesla drivers are people who like to go out together.
We will of course support this and will also organize events ourselves.
Think of beautiful rides through scenic landscape.
On August 13, a team of us will participate in a rally high through the Alps.
That will be a beautiful route that can often be driven by enthusiasts. We will pick that up and we already know we can count on the help of local Tesla drivers.
We are very proud to host a livestream with the US where a Tesla owner of both a Model 3 and a Model Y talks about her cars with an emphasis on the Model Y we are all so curious about.
She will also show the car and we conclude with a Q&A.
Make sure you have quick access to TeslaCampus.nl so that you can participate in this event.
What started as a small group of Tesla enthusiastic women who shared experiences and organized meetings (women only) has grown into a worldwide community.
We would like to create a nice place for Tesla Diva’s Europe who already planned an amazing next meeting in a beautiful castle along the Rhine. You can find a lot about it on TeslaCampus.
